Knowledge centre

From the short answer to the operating decision.

01

The seller owns the listing and shipment plan

ASIN data, product compliance, tax obligations and the final shipment plan remain seller responsibilities. Preparation should follow the live instructions rather than a remembered standard.

02

Prepare units and cartons as separate checks

Unit labels, poly-bagging, bundling and protection are checked before carton limits, box labels and quantities. Separating both levels makes errors easier to isolate.

03

Keep evidence for exceptions

Quantity differences, visible damage, unreadable barcodes or changed instructions should be photographed and resolved before dispatch.

FAQ

Questions before you start.

Can a prep centre create the Amazon shipment plan for the seller?

That depends on the agreed access and responsibility model. The seller should retain control of the account, listing and compliance decisions.
