Knowledge centre

From the short answer to the operating decision.

01

Verify the inbound against the brief

Count received units, note visible damage and isolate unidentified stock before labels or packaging are changed.

  • Expected and received quantity
  • Visible-condition record
  • SKU and barcode identification
02

Prepare each sellable unit

Apply the required barcode, bagging, bundling, protection or expiry information while keeping the original product identifiable throughout the task.

03

Build and verify cartons

Confirm carton quantities, weight, dimensions and labels against the shipment plan. A unit-level check does not replace a carton-level check.

04

Release with a clear record

Keep the shipment reference, carton count, carrier hand-off and any approved exceptions together for later investigation.

FAQ

Questions before you start.

Why should FBA exceptions stop the workflow?

Continuing with damaged, unidentified or mismatched units can multiply the correction work and weaken the dispatch record.
