From the short answer to the operating decision.

01

1. Agree the receiving rules before buying

The buyer first confirms the store, product type, destination and expected parcel profile. The Portuguese receiving details and parcel identifier should be agreed before the merchant ships anything.

  • Store and product link
  • Destination and declared value
  • Expected parcel reference
02

2. Identify and inspect each arrival

On arrival, the parcel is matched to the request and checked according to the selected service. Photography, visible-condition checks or quantity verification are separate tasks and should not be assumed unless included.

03

3. Decide whether consolidation is useful

Combining parcels may reduce the number of international consignments, but it can also change dimensional weight, packaging needs and customs presentation. The right decision depends on the real packed dimensions.

04

4. Select the international route

Destination, contents, declared value, parcel dimensions and desired transit time determine the available carrier services. Restricted or controlled goods need an individual check before dispatch.

FAQ

Questions before you start.

Is a Portuguese address enough to forward any product?

No. Carrier rules, export controls, dangerous-goods restrictions and destination import rules still apply.

Will consolidation always make the shipment cheaper?

No. It is useful when the reduction in parcel count outweighs any increase in packed size, handling and dimensional weight.
